Auguries of destruction be a lullaby for rebirth
"Caspian wasn't always what I've been called but that life has departed from me, as has the name."The seeker was adopted by the Malaguld tribe of the Azim Steppes at a young age. They gave him the name 'Arryn'. From a young age it was clear that many of the Xaela tribes were skeptical of a different race being within one of their tribes.Arryn found solace and friendship with an Elezen-Hyur girl named Alkaid; whose parents were anthropologists studying the Kha tribe. The Malaguld taught Arryn to be a monk. The foundations of monk teachings were at harmony with his own personality. Moderate, balanced, disciplined, observant but quick to take needed action. When in a group setting he was never the first to speak. His spirited boldness was unmistakable when training or in competitions between the tribes; his skill as a non-Auri monk gained him respect amongst even the most skeptical of tribes.
Arryn was often far from Reunion traveling with his tribe, but when they were close enough to the Kha he spent his time with Alkaid. They would spend their evenings sneaking out of Reunion, counting the stars and rolling around the aromatic steppe grasses.Arryn had heard there was a star shower happening one particular evening. A perfect night to ask for Alkaid's hand; A perfect night...until it wasn't. The deep red sky turned an ornery green, and several yol cries filled the air. Atop the massive birds were Auri riders with blue skin -- the ruthless Dotharl. But why attack now? Why attack two random people and not an entire village? Both of them were aware that running would not buy them more time. One of the dortharl was chanting something. A spell of sorts. Arryn embraced Alkaid's small frame tightly. His visioned turned white, and then faded to black.Vide Noir - the black void.
"I felt a rush of warm liquid wash over me. My nose was met with a sweet, sanguine smell. The rushing of the liquid grew louder. My sight was slowly being restored, and as my focus began to sharpen I found myself lying in a bed of flowers, rustling amidst a strong wind."The Miqo'te paused, his tone melancholic" The ground was cold, I was alone... and judging by the placement of the moon I’d guess it was around 3am. My body ached as if it had been under a great weight. I rolled to my side and uncurled my fingers...An orange feather. As I brought it closer to my face it turned black and crumbled into ash."

Additional info
⦾ Often found atop of busy city buildings in the evening, watching the night life and the stars.⦾ Little to no possessions due to being extremely transient⦾ Keeps a sachet of aromatic Steppe grass on him at all times, and thus has a lingering smell best described as campfire, cinnamon, and star anise.⦾ Picked up smoking after leaving the Steppes five years ago. "No one escapes death. Let me at least enjoy the ride there."⦾ Dark beer enjoyer, not so much for hard liquor⦾ While not ashamed of having been brought up by a Xaela tribe, it's a conversation he tends to avoid having with most outsiders. It sparks too many questions; and with questions, comes flooding memories.⦾ Occasionally some awkward cultural differences/inexperiences come into play (IE unfamiliar with guns, government regulations, etc). If something wasn't taught to him in the steppe, he is quick to try and adapt what is generally perceived as 'normal' for non-steppe residents.⦾ Genuinely gets no enjoyment from fighting and considers it a 'past life' hobby. If something can be settled by words or favours, he prefers doing so but will fight if it comes down to it.
